Dalefield House
Queenstown
This alpine renovation integrates Antique European Oak reclaimed from 17th–19th century European barns. The timber was used for exposed beams and a custom wall shelf.
Designed by ETAL Architecture and built by RBJ Construction, the project balances contemporary form with the texture and character of reclaimed material.
Patagonia Store
Queenstown
Patagonia’s Queenstown store features Antique European Oak reclaimed from historic European structures. The timber was used for feature beams, the front counter, shelving, and framed detailing throughout the space.
The joinery was executed by Masterwood Joinery. The result is a retail interior defined by material depth, surface character, and a considered approach to sustainable design.
Old Oak Restaurant
Europe
This European restaurant was constructed from a deconstructed 300-year-old oak house frame. Antique European Oak forms the structural and interior elements throughout.
Supplied as a kitset for local assembly, the project demonstrates large-scale reuse of historic material within a contemporary hospitality setting.
Thirsty Acres Restaurant
Kirwee
Following a fire, this country pub was rebuilt with Antique European Oak weatherboards reclaimed from 300-year-old European barns.
Designed by LMN Architects and executed by QRS Joiners, the material introduces depth and authenticity while reinforcing the building’s rural identity.
Vermont Street
Auckland
In this contemporary Auckland residence, Antique European Oak was used across the kitchen island, breakfast cabinet, open shelving, ceiling linings, and exposed beams.
Designed by Cheshire Architects and built with DBJ Furniture, the timber brings texture and material contrast to a refined modern interior.
