Custom Oak & Special Orders
Our custom oak and special order service is for project-led sourcing of one-off architectural elements, rare reclaimed timber and unique pieces selected for a specific design requirement.
These pieces are sourced by request only and chosen according to the needs of each project. This may include substantial reclaimed oak beams, fire mantels, architectural features, oversized sections, unusual dimensions, or timber with a particular surface character, tone or history.
Because reclaimed timber is naturally limited by availability, special order pieces are selected individually. Each item is assessed for scale, structure, patina and suitability, ensuring the timber is appropriate for its intended use while retaining the character that makes reclaimed oak so distinctive.
This service is well suited to architects, designers, builders and homeowners looking for something specific that cannot be found in standard timber supply. Whether the project calls for a statement beam, a large-format mantel, a one-off furniture element or a rare reclaimed feature piece, we can source and select timber to suit the design intent.

Sizes generally start from approximately 100 × 100mm, with larger sections available depending on stock and project requirements.
Special order pieces can include substantial wine press beams up to 500 × 500mm, subject to availability.
Lengths may be available up to approximately 10 metres, depending on the timber sourced.
Timber is selected per project, based on required size, surface character, structural suitability, finish and availability.
